WebLayers is currently seeking talented Senior Software Engineers to join our team and help lead the development of our application platform.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and support the WebLayers Center IT Governance product
Define the next generation of the product, including administration interface, policy server, governors and policy libraries.
Work with Product Management and support teams to ensure proper product development and support.
Develop unit test plans and work with the QA team to make the product ready for release
Participate in the design reviews in an effort to provide superior design of software units/modules/products
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years software development experience.
Expertise in enterprise Java component development
In depth knowledge of directory services, relational databases and internet servers such as web servers and applications servers.
Knowledge in server side Windows and Unix based development is a must.
Working knowledge of one or more of the following standards and protocols:
XML, SOAP, XPATH, XQUERY, LDAP, HTTP, SSL
Experience in relational database client development using Hibernate is a plus
Knowledge of localization and multi-lingual product development is preferred.
Excellent communication skills are required.
Education:
BS degree in computer science, engineering or mathematics
