Professional Services Technical Consultant
Responsibilities:
Conduct WebLayers Center technical implementations, deliver WebLayers Center training, provide input to Product Management based on field experiences
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3-5 years computer software or IT industry experience
- 2+ years as software consultant
Skills:
- Services Oriented Architecture, J2EE architecture, XML, XPath, XQuery, Windows 2003 server, Windows XP Professional, Linux Red Hat AS v2.x, JBoss v4.x, BEA WebLogic Server v9.x, IBM WebSphere v6.x, Oracle Database v10.x, IBM DB2 Database v8.x, MS SQL Server 2005 Database, JavaScript, Database/SQL programming, Data Communications essentials
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- J2EE programming, IT Operations tech support, Help Desk experience all a plus
Education:
- BS degree in computer science, engineering or mathematics
Other:
- Lives in Northeast, US (Boston/Cambridge, MA area a plus)
- Willing to travel (approx 15 days a month), willing to work a solid week at a time at customer sites (Monday 9am – Friday 5pm)
